#9 Álvaro Parente – Porto, Portugal I 10/4/1984
Álvaro Parente returns for his fourth season under the K-PAX Racing banner in 2020. The Portuguese talent has made his mark in GT World Challenge since his debut in 2016, winning the Drivers’ Championship in his first season and helping the team to several Team Championships, most recently in back-to-back seasons with Bentley. Parente currently holds the title for most victories in team history (16), earning the honor during the 2019 season.
“I’m very happy to be back with the team for 2020 during such an important change coming to race in Europe. There are some big challenges ahead, but both me and the team are used to having these big challenges and making the most of them. We are focused and Bentley is also helping a lot with more involvement and interaction with K-PAX Racing. I’m very happy to be part of the program, and I’m going to give my best as always to achieve the results we want.”
#9 Andy Soucek | Madrid, Spain | 6/14/1985
Andy Soucek joined K-PAX Racing as a part of the team’s transition to Bentley Motorsport in 2018, and he has since helped the team contend at a high-level for championships. Hailing from Madrid, Spain, the racing veteran earned his first American victory with the team in 2019 and returns to the team for his third season, bringing a wealth of knowledge about the European tracks on the GT World Challenge schedule. Soucek enters the 2020 season, his seventh season in GT World Challenge Europe, having the most consecutive starts of any driver in the field.
“K-PAX Racing has always been toward the front in every championship it has competed in, and I believe this new challenge will serve as a statement as to how strong the team really is,” Soucek said. “I think the team will prove that its capable of winning against a lot more competitors at other tracks, between the competition and the new tracks, it will only motivate the them.”
#3 Maxime Soulet – I São Paulo, Brazil I 9/13/1996
Rodrigo Baptista joined K-PAX Racing in 2018, embarking on his first full season in GT3 racing. In a short time, Baptista proved his talent among some of the series’ most talented amateur drivers by winning four races in the series’ first five events. Since, the young-talent from São Paulo, Brazil has risen to the ranks of the series’ most elite – regularly competing at the top of the field.
“K-PAX Racing is a well-recognized team with multiple wins, titles and history and I’m glad I am being part of that. I want to thank Jim Haughey, Darren Law and everyone working on the No. 3 as well my personal crew. The last two years we had a very successful season racing in the U.S. I know most of the tracks already, so this won’t be a problem at all. I am looking forward to 2020 and everything the new year will bring to us.”
#3 Maxime Soulet – I Nivelles, Belgium I 7/26/1983
Maxime Soulet joined K-PAX Racing from Bentley Motorsport in 2018, also helping the factory team test and field the second-generation Continental GT3 in its debut season the following year. Hailing from Nivelles, Belgium, Soulet has made an instant impact on the team, co-driving the No. 3 Continental GT3 to seven victories in two seasons with Rodrigo Baptista. In that span, the driver pairing has made 18 trips to the podium.
“I’m very happy to be joining K-PAX Racing in this new chapter in the Endurance Cup,” Soulet said. “I know it will be hard work for them from America to Europe, but I’ve been working with the team for two years already in America with lots of success. I’m sure that with all the good people they have, we are going to fight very soon for the win.”
#8 Guy Cosmo | Palm Beach Gardens, Florida | 3/12/1977
Cosmo’s illustrious career began in karting at the age of 11, and he transitioned to sports cars in 2003. There, he established himself as a stand-out driver in both Prototype and GT Racing, notably earning the Asian Le Mans Series’ 2017-2018 LMP3 title with Patrick Byrne as his co-driver.

#8 Patrick Byrne | Spokane, Washington | 6/22/1990
At 15, Byrne attended the Bondurant High Performance Driving School in Chandler, Arizona and has since been competitive among some of the world’s most elite drivers. Byrne will be joining the premiere class in GT World Challenge America after running a limited GT4 schedule with Cosmo in 2019, which included a victory at Road America (Wisc.) in the Pirelli GT4 America Pro-Am SprintX East class.

#9 Jordan Pepper | Gauteng, South Africa | 7/31/1996
Jordan Pepper, from Gauteng, South Africa, joins K-PAX Racing as a part of the team’s expansion into Europe. Pepper, who first signed with Bentley Motorsport during the 2018 season, helped Bentley the following year to its first victory on European soil with its second-generation Continental GT3 (Circuit Paul Ricard – 2019).
“I can clearly see why Bentley joined forces with K-PAX Racing as one of their lead customer teams around the world, and they have really flown the Bentley Flag high over in America,” Pepper said. “With the strong working relationship with Bentley, coming over to Europe should make the transition much easier.”
#3 Jules Gounon | Aubenas, France | 12/31/1994
Jules Gounon, hailing from Aubenas, France, joins K-PAX Racing in its first-ever full season. Gounon, a Bentley Motorsport driver since 2018, brings a wealth of experience from his previous successes on the GT World Challenge Europe circuit – notably winning the 2017 24 Hours of Spa in 2017 and helping Bentley Team M-Sport to a victory at Circuit Paul Ricard last season with Jordan Pepper. Gounon was also crowned the 2017 ADAC GT Masters Champion in 2017.
